Oh snap... I know a lot of friends who have gotten ticketed right there. I know to set the cruise at 60mph until you pass the 70mph sign.

There are at least two cops right at the end of the bridge every time I pass through that area. Every time. They get you on the last 500 feet of an 18 mile long 60 MPH bridge, as you are going downhill to the 70 MPH stretch that is so temptingly laid out in front of you. Most of the time it is the locals, but I often see the state guys there as well

I would say there's no case if the tickets issued were in the officer's jurisdiction. Even if there was an incentive to issue citations. However, if they were outside their jurisdiction then anything goes.
